Adult OWL Training

Register here to become a trained facilitator of OWL (Our Whole Lives) Lifespan Sexuality Education Program for all adult levels.

This training takes place on the following dates & times and will be led by Kirsten deFur and Marshall Miller, sponsored by First Unitarian Church of Rochester.

Friday, May 15th: 2:00 - 3:00 PM Arrival/Check in
                              3:00 PM - 8:15 PM Training, dinner provided
Saturday, May 16th: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, light breakfast, lunch and dinner provided
Sunday, May 17th: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, light breakfast & lunch provided

Our anticipated "true cost" per participant is $650. Knowing that individuals and congregations have differing financial situations, we are offering a sliding scale for registration between $500 and $800 per participant. Please pay the most you or your congregation can afford to increase accessibility for others!

Trainees must be 21+ years of age at the time of training.

Deadline to register is Wednesday, April 22.

There are mandatory pre-training assignments to be completed at least four days beforehand, amounting to around 3.5 hours of work. This will be delivered by facilitators by May 4.

Participants must arrange their own travel and lodging and bring their own copies of the OWL curriculum for the level they plan to teach (young adult, adult, or older adult). See here for details.
